You will be required to provide mentoring support to two people in you workplace. These mentees can either be a new staff member or student undertaking practical placement.

You will be required for each mentoring relationship to develop a performance plan for the mentor and a learning plan for the mentee.

PROJECT 2: Infection Control Practices

This project involves you being responsible for leading the development and implementation of a WHS audit and risk assessment of one work area in relation to infection control practices.

You will be required to identify one opportunity for improvement and an improvement plan developed in relation to this.

PROJECT 3: Professionalising the OTT Role

You will be required to take on a leadership role in generating conversation and debate about professionalising the OTT role and what a professional OTT practitioner means in terms of skills, knowledge and attitude. A key part of this project is the development of an OTT practitioner code of ethics and code of conduct.
